Kemet is a strange land once home to a death-obsessed people who dotted the lands with ancient mortuary monuments to their own glory. It has now been claimed by their descendants and is ruled by Sultan Hashim Sasaan, one of the blue-people who can survive the fiercest of sandstorms.
The Sultan has put out a call to fortune-seekers to plumb the depths of his people’s ancient oppressors in search of wealth and fame.
The Cobalt Desert is a sandbox campaign using the Shadowdark rules, set in the desert expanse of Kemet in my home campaign world of Altherra. Adventurers set out from a coastal oasis city seeking treasures in the sands and forgotten monuments of Kemet.
