Prepping Map for our The Enemy Within Finalé
We’re coming to the end of our run-through of The Enemy Within, with tomorrow evening probably being the final session, it’s been great fun despite being very hectic and borderline exhausting at times, I’m grateful for the time-saving balm that is Obsidian Notes, otherwise it would have been a lot more tricky to manage the campaign.
In our final session the treacherous shape-changing demon Gideon has used the power of a corrupting Ghal Maraz (Sigmar’s legendary lost hammer recovered by the PCs) to summon SHEERARGETRU a mighty Lord of Change in the Imperial Throne Room. Standing and fighting the demon would be tantamount to suicide, so some of the PCs must delay the creature whilst outside their allies work to contain the demon infestation SHEERARGETRU has unleashed on Altdorf and the remainder of the party rush to try and find a way to banish the creature.
I’ve been working on the idea of using a more zone based exploration style for my Shadowdark sandbox campaigns and thought I’d try the same thing here, so I’ve thrown together the below zone map of the Imperial Palace in Altdorf for the PCs to race through during the finalé, avoiding cultists and demons.
The map was put together in Owlbear Rodeo VTT.
Essentially moving to an adjacent zone will cost a turn and there will be tokens representing other forces involved in their own activities in the palace, each turn that passes the PCs who are still in the throne room will have to withstand the fury of SHEERARGETRU.

Amazing stuff mate!
