Welcome to the Red Dice Diaries, where we talk about RPGs, offering hints, reviews and stuff to use in your own games.
I’ve recently acquired a book called Brancalonia which is a spaghetti fantasy campaign book using the 5th Edition of the world’s most popular roleplaying game; reading through got me thinking about what I loved in it, but why I probably wouldn’t run it as is.
In this episode I’m out and about talking about that very subject and also comparing it to another game Helveczia that has a similar vibe to it.
Both of these games are also available from DrivethruRPG in PDF format.
I’d really love you to get involved in the conversation so we can get some back-and-forth going on this subject, you can leave us a voicemail at: https://www.speakpipe.com/RDDRPGPodcast
Or email us at RDDRPGpodcast@gmail.com, either sending us a sound file or a written email.
If I get some response I’ll put them together in an episode with responses and we can hopefully get a really useful discussion going and learn something from each other.
We now also have a blog:
